In preparation for their company launch, we refined and finalized Acres logo and helped them choose a color scheme that made them stand out in their space in preparation for their launch a couple years ago. They have experienced a lot of growth in that time, and are rolling out a new fleet of vehicles which we have designed for them.
When Acre approached us about helping them finalize a logo and chose the color scheme for their business, we pointed out that most businesses in their space look VERY similar. When researching the competition we saw that most landscaping and lawn companies used some combination of green, black, and white for their logos, vehicles, and apparel. We have a great relationship with the owner and he has worked closely with our Creative Director on past business and branding projects. When we pointed out the colors his competition used, he jokingly asked if we were going to suggest he use pink. We think a great way to get attention in a crowded space is to zig when everyone else zags. So pink it was!
As Acre adds to it's fleet, they want to make sure each vehicle stands out on the road and acts as a rolling billboard. The pink definitely stands out, but could have been too much if entire vehicles were covered in it. We used the navy from their brand palette to balance the pink.
